		<description>You hit the nail on the head this time, Jon. And there are so many corollaries that go along with this &quot;library is books and books-only&quot; madness (and the grasping at weak validation everytime they see it). 

My current campaign is to get people to realize that *everyone* who touches the library (on the web, in the bulding to use wifi) *must* be offered service. Not just left to their own devices.</description>

		<description>I am with you 100%.  As a video librarian for example.  And as a cataloguing prof. You should have heard the sermon for our students Fri.  We gotta find some library pride and shirk weak arguments.  We need to put forth our assertions of what the texts and inf. packages of the future are and make new structures challenge our assertions -- for example build the way ahead for the the right ebooks that are user centred. Feel like a palliative care specialist.

Next stop.  Draw lines in the sand on digital rights profit structures.  Challenge the content providers and content prisons.  Support creativity and build cultural recall.  That&#039;s our business cultural recall in an environment of information onslaught.</description>
